They would have been easier to install if I hadn’t done it myself but really it didn’t take long. Have been up since the beginning of November almost 3 months in our Canadian weather without issue. The app is fairly easy to use and I like you can also control the brightness. I’ll be able to turn them on for any season. So many cool options or build your own colour scheme. In the picture these are the super bright ones around the door and window. I wish the 2 lengths were end to end instead of each leading from the box as it made design a little more difficult. I got a lot of compliments for the Christmas look, can’t wait for the next holiday.

It’s a great light strip, and I highly recommend it! After I installed them, my neighbor came over and we spent like 20 minutes just testing out different presets. For installation, I used large paper binder clips to help hold the light strip in place as I peeled off the backing and stuck the light strip to the eaves. I was able to affix the lights so that they shine on the face of the house instead of directly down, this worked really well.
Pros: – Very Bright – Lots of great presets for any party, holiday, or just dimmable mood lighting (It outputs solid white, ranging from warm to cool). – Easy to set auto On/Off at certain times. – I don’t have to put up or take down Christmas lights yearly.
Cons: – No Native HomeKit Support. – It only comes with about 14 clips for 65′ of light strip, so I ordered more separately for about $10. – Installation can take longer than you think. – The app is not as intuitive as it could be, it’s easy to turn on, set to a mode, etc. but beyond that, it gets more complicated with more advanced features that require a learning curve. – I don’t see any option for using sunset as a time trigger, like in Apple HomeKit.

I bought these so I could leave them up year round. They weren’t hard to install, and are very pretty. The only problem I’m having is I’m an older woman, and the app is a bit overwhelming to me. I guess I’ll need to go on it and keep trying.

What a complete piece of junk.
I spent the extra money on a suggestion from a co-worker that they were familiar with this brand of product. I tested the lights directly out of the box, and both sections lit up. After spending 4 hours measuring and drilling and tapping brackets, I installed both sections. Another 20 minutes of wiring through the garage and I was ready to Link my phone app.
Only one strand lit. I could not figure it out. After 20 minutes of troubleshooting, I looked close and realized during installation, which I was incredibly gentle, a weak spot in the extraordinarily fragile silicone casing cracked, and broke the connection on the second section directly after the power cord. Severing all four electrical connections. I took a look to see if I could repair them, except for they are so ridiculously thin and cheap there is no hope of reconnecting them.
And this was supposed to last outdoors on my house through the seasons? I don’t think so. Spend your money somewhere else. This brand Govee cuts corners. And it’s apparent in their overpriced products that now I have to uninstall, wasting the other half of my Sunday away from my family.

I’ve had these for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. They are bright, seem to be nicely made (at least compared to other similar lights on the market) and were easy to install on the aluminum frame of my porch awning. Just make sure that you plan ahead before installing them, as they come in two rolls (the 65ft version) with the power supply in between the rolls. So, basically you have a letter Y and have to plan ahead how each of the two branches is going to be laid out. Another downside is that they are not linkable.

These are the best outdoor lights I have ever owned! They were so easy to install and versatile, you can literally change the lights to whatever design you want as well as the brightness level. I live in the country so I have mine on the brightest setting and it lights up my whole yard and can be seen a few miles away! I can change the design from my phone anywhere and they are on a timer to come on at a certain time and shut off at a certain time every day! Get them you won’t regret it!!

I like how bright and vibrant these lights are. I do dislike many aspects of them. I don’t like the separate rolls as it makes it more difficult to achieve a look without cords down the middle. I didn’t like how some colors bleed such as the hue of pink between red & white. And while there are many set modes, I wish they were a bit customizable to your own prefered color patterns like other brands.

Mounted these to the edge of my soffit. Used the 3m tape with the little screw in clips, went up nice. The app is pretty cool and easy to set up and program. Alot of different themes to pick from.

There is a lot to like about this product but I should have read the reviews before pulling the trigger as the two rolls are sliced together with power wire in the middle. Makes it really difficult to install then traditional string lights.
Pros: The app is awesome can do a lot of custom and preset effects Clips to mount are great hold solid and keep string in place 3M tape through the entire string, no missing section Very bright and unnoticeable when off.
Cons: The length is inaccurate, definitely shorter than 65.6 feet Cannot be cut to fit like shown on the Amazon listing, so don’t buy the additional splicers as recommended Power wire is in the middle, just makes installing difficult, other LED strips connect end to end
