Easy to install and it completed the look I was looking for!!!! This are the 5th set of shelves I’ve bought. I have them all over my house. Totally love them

These shelves worked perfectly in my room! I initially bought them to hold a few books which they did no problem, but decided to move them above my bedroom doorway! Great quality!

The shelves are very nice. The installation instructions and supplies are excellent. Great price!

The drywall anchors this comes with are entirely too small and do not support the shelves. I went out and purchased toggle bolts and now the shelves are rock solid.

I originally ordered a different shelf that was longer and it never shipped from Amazon. So I came across these and I love them even though they were shorter I went ahead and ordered a second set that should arrive today to add right next to it. Easy to hang with their stick on templates.

I would highly recommend that if you are looking at these shelves you go elsewhere. I bought these because they were cheap, specs were decent, and the reviews were good. I have now wasted the money I spent on these.
You will see plenty of reviews stating that they are not very stable and you shouldn’t put too much weight on them unless you mount them to studs. What they don’t tell you is that despite the advertisement you cannot in fact mount these to studs. Because the shelves are 16 inches wide and the mounting location is about 3 inches in on each side. At best you can get 1 side mounted to a stud and the other side in drywall.
On to stability, you will see plenty of people saying they wouldn’t put alot of weight on it, what none of them mention is that it doesn’t matter if you mount it on a stud or not, 3 pounds of pressure on the front will cause them to start sagging, why? Because the holes the rods insert into are cheap particle board all the way around , they provide absolutely zero resistance against the mounting rods. This causes them to slowly over time warp the holes and make them larger until ultimately your shelf will simply fall off. I attempted to install 1 purely for setting my xbox series x on as I’m tired of it cluttering up my desk however I ended up taking it down and throwing all 3 of these shelves in the trash because they aren’t worth installing.

its cute, only downslide is that it doesn’t support a lot of weight

I wanted to mount my three shelves close together as I don’t have a lot of room in my house. The shelves come with a mounting guide that you place on the wall when determining where to place the holes that will support the mounting brackets. I some issues with these guides.
1. The guide that you place on the wall peals off another piece of paper. You would think the guide I need to place on my wall would have the adhesive to, you know, stick it to the wall, but this isn’t the case. I still had to go get tape to keep it in place while the piece I throw away has achieve on it.
2. The guide was the same length as the shelves I wanted to install. The problem here is that I checked this and then didn’t install the shelves for a few days. When you peal off guide, that won’t stick to the wall, from the backer, you don’t remove the whole length as the guide. It is actually shorter then before I removed it. I have now drilled 12 holes in my drywall, placed the wall anchors, and my shelves won’t fit.
I will own the fact that I should have checked the the the length before putting holes in my wall, but a quick not in the instructions that the guide length not matching the shelf length would have been very helpful. Since I was using the guides to place the screws, I was also using them to place where I wanted my selves.
