Saved my sofa from a high energy kitten! So easy to apply and dettered him from scratching where he does not need to scratch, highly recommend!

Really happy with this product. Great price and value. Other listings were offering only 3 rolls with not as much length. I thought I’d have to pay over $40 to seal 3 doors until I came across this deal of 5 for under $20. Love the included scraper to help adhere to surface and keep out air bubbles. Have never received one with similar products so I’ll be keeping it to use with future projects. Love that it has a backing! Some similar products I saw reviewed did not have this feature and reviewers said this made those protectors hard to apply and cut to size. This door protector film was a piece of cake to do both. Looking forward to no more damage by little claws in my house!

So far we’re impressed! It’s been up a couple days and it’s stuck really well for 2 big dogs that like to scratch at our doors. Will update in a few months.

I just got a new sofa. My last one was sent out the door in tatters from my cats scratching the living hell out of it. I bought these with a prayer on my lips. So far, they are working perfectly! The cats do not appreciate the slick surface and… they are actually using their scratching posts! The plastic clear, panels are hardly noticeable. I’m very thankful for this product!

Excellent for cats… stopped scratching instantly

So ok…the cats are super fond of these things but then again neither am I. They are basically sheets of plastic with holes on the edges where you insert fabric screws. Yes, they have sticky stuff on the back but that only last so long…and don’t even think of repositioning them. Once you do that, the sticky stuff loses its integrity so then you must rely on the screws to hold them in place. Not to sure what the answer is but I’m thinking I don’t really like these things. They remind me of an old lady house with plastic covered furniture. No thank you.

I love these because they saved my furniture from claws!! The only complaint I have is that they weren’t packaged in anything, so I lost almost all of the little screws during shipping due to a tear in the plastic. It’s upsetting due to these not sticking so well to my furniture fabrics, but otherwise I’m very happy with them! Recommended to anyone with cats that like to scratch furniture.

I have 3 cats and they have destroyed an Ikea sofa, then another cheap futon I bought to replace it.
This time, I got a not expensive but beautiful sofa bed, in orange velvet. And I want to keep it that way…
I got a cover for it but some parts will not reach, so these plastic adhesives were applied to those areas, ironically the favorite parts they like to scratch.
Took me a while to really open the package and try it. Then, there is a warning “Not for velvet, faux or real leather”. Come on!
I wish there was an explanation on why. Will it damage it? For faux leather, maybe, but real leather as well?
So I am trying anyway, it comes out easily.
One tip is, if you need to hold them in place, cross the pieces, because when you put one adhesive over the other, it’s really hard to pull it out.
So, for corners, make sure you know where you want it and cross them! It will stay in place. I am not using the pins.
Wish me luck!

**** Why four stars?
This item works as advertised and protects parts of your house from the claws of your kitty. If there is a particular spot that your little wolverine likes to shred these plastic sheets will help protect those spots! However, this product is not receiving 5 stars because it is not a fix to the root problem. You can slap these badboys up all over your house and I guarantee your little Edward Scissorhand will find another spot to dismantle.
If you have a particular piece of furniture you want to keep scratch free these sheets of plastic will do their job. but these plastic sheets will not help deter the fury of claws.
