I got this rug in blue to complement a solid blue rug in an adjacent room. It arrived folded and in a plastic zip-top bag. I’ve had better success with rugs in zip-top bags, because they don’t seem to have a smell like rugs in vacuum-sealed bags. I was happy to find out that there was no smell to this rug, either.
The design on the rug is pretty cool. The fabric is soft underfoot. It isn’t a deep plush, but it isn’t a flat weave, either. There is a nonslip backing, so I didn’t need to add any additional padding under the rug.
The rug had a deep crease from the folding. I wanted to see how long it would take for the crease to fall out naturally, but I ended up having to put the rug through the washing machine after a visiting dog had a liquid accident on it. After air drying, the rug was as good as new, and the crease was long gone. The rug’s fabric felt as soft as when it was first received.
This rug looks and feels great!

This rug turned out to be the perfect size for where we wanted it. Our pitbull has a tendency to scratch at the carpet and he’s causing so much damage that we had to come up with a better solution besides just replacing our flooring. This rug not only covered the hole that he had already made, but it covered the entire space that he usually scratches alongside our bed. The design is nice and my husband was blown away by how beautiful it is. I really like the tiny blue accents on the rug; they really pop against the black and white. It’s not a very thick rug, but its still very soft and comfortable on the feet. Even if our bed wasn’t on top of it, the grip is nice and the rug doesn’t slide on the carpet at all. The size was absolutely perfect for the space where we placed it.

I bought this rug to go in our schoolroom, because the kids often have to sit on the cold floor during the winter while they do some of the lessons. I tried several other rugs before settling on this one, and here is why this was the best choice.
— Easy to Clean (★★★★★): This rug really is machine washable. The 4×6 size fits easily in my standard sized washer and dryer, and I can spray it before washing it if one of the kids spills something on it. This is also a big deal because we have some bad allergies in our family, so all rugs must be machine washable for health reasons.
— Softness Factor (★★★★★): The rug is surprisingly soft…much softer than wool rugs would be. It feels like a thin blanket laid on the ground, but better because the rubber grips on the bottom won’t let it slide around when we walk on it.
— Looks (★★★★☆): The colors are pretty (we bought the blue one), and I like them a lot. They’re perhaps a bit more faded than I would prefer, although that is very picky, and other people might disagree. There’s no accounting for taste, right?
— Ease of Use (★★★★★): The grips on the bottom of the rug work really well, and it hasn’t slid at all since we laid it on the floor for the first time. The thinness of the rug is also a benefit for us, since we use it in a schoolroom with lots of rolling chairs. The chairs have no trouble rolling over it, so we don’t have to move the rug in order to move the chairs around. Also, the lack of tassels on the ends of the rug is a plus, because it makes it easier to vacuum.
Overall, this is a great rug at a really great price, and I love it!

I have a floor area in my bedroom that, to me, pretty much seemed to be begging for something like this item to adorn it. BIG picture: this item showed up quickly. I love that this item has whatever it has that keeps it from slipping around the floor. I love that it is thinner, I think they refer to that as a short nap or is it knap? I AM not up on floor coverings lingo. So, technically, what you see is what you get and that’s a good thing. My only two other things I would like to share and I do so at the end, because in a way I don’t feel like they technically take away from this item being worthwhile, since they are my subjective points of view.
1. This came in a variety of colors and I choose the black as I thought it would go best with my room’s decor. In the image, it seemed to me it was mostly variations of white and black, kind of expected maybe some grey. And so when I opened the package and saw the pops of blue in the pattern. I was not the happiest of campers. For had I been aware, I would not have ordered this. Regardless, in all fairness, I installed it on said floor just to see. And in doing so, it does seem like the blue is ever so slight enough that now that I have this item on my floor it is not a deal breaker. 2. I recently was the delighted recipient of another floor covering for my home. And I don’t know what it is that is different about that floor covering compared to this one that is the reason why. Yet by comparison, this item with the subtle pops of blue is not as soft when you walk around on it bare-footed. It’s not horrible. And had I not recently received the other floor covering, I probably wouldn’t have actually noticed it too much. It’s just that since where I chose to place this particular floor covering is what I step on bare-footed as I get out of bed, a bit more softness for me would be more luxurious feeling. Again, though, that is my point of view and depending on where you are thinking of putting this item, if you were to order it…you may not care enough about that enough for it to be a deal breaker. Again, overall, BIG PICTURE, I AM pleased and will keep this on my floor at least for the time being.
