Love the compact size of this travel umbrella. Sturdy, well made travelling companion.

I love using this umbrella. We have had a ton of windy rain so far this winter. It’s durable; and has lasted me longer now than any other I’ve owned. (3 months going strong now)
I love the design. It is easy to get in my purse and it’s pretty lightweight considering how durable it is.
A good size for 2 average sized people. My teen daughter and I can both be protected at the same time. Comfortable to hold too.
It opens and closes super easy. Doesn’t POP out super fast like others (I really appreciate that )
I love the vibrant color , very classy looking.
The material repels water and dries very fast.
I’m Overall very pleased. Caught it on sale and I’m glad I took a chance with it.

This umbrella is great and pretty well built. I usually use this for summer and winter. With the rain season approaching and the hot summers, this is definitely a good thing to have. I am not a fan of the hot sun or the heavy rain. The umbrella is pretty sturdy and I tried a wind resistant test and it holds up. Short of a tornado, it does not flip inside out from just sheer wind force which is nice for those windy rainy days. Even with the heavy winds in the bay area, this umbrellas held up pretty well. It does have enough room for max of two people and will cover the person however depending on the angle it will not cover your backpack. I tried walking around with this with my backpack on and the backpack still got a bit wet but I stayed bone dry which is nice. The switch is nice to have to collapse the umbrella. I am very happy with that. I do not have to close the umbrella down when my other hand is carrying my bag or books. It does not happen to splash water when it closes but careful when you reopen it. The button is not super sensitive. This is great because you will not be walking and all of a sudden the umbrella closes or opens on you. The water runs right off the umbrella and it does not take super long to dry which is nice. What is nice is that I am able to brush off most of the water making drying a lot easier. It does also come with a cover when it is being stored so you can keep it looking neat and organized. Overall I think this umbrella is great to have for sunny or rainy weather. It is light and compact while allowing for full coverage.

This is the second umbrella I bought. It’s sturdy, a bit larger than most and easy to handle.

I bought this back in 2019 in college to use since it was raining pretty hard recently and upcoming. It’s now the end of April in 2023 and this umbrella still works well and wonderfully. It’s lasted me through storms and can withstand a lot of wind and I mean enough wind to pull you while using the umbrella. At that point, the umbrella folded and I’m rather thankful it does at that point. Amazing umbrella and it’s been to several different countries with me on travels and through hail too. It’s withstood all that. Very much considering getting a second one since my family is starting to notice it’s the same umbrella for years and I think it might go “missing”. Honestly a great deal. One thing I would change is how it closes, it’s definitely left a wet spot on my suits when going to interviews and meetings. A small nitpick since it’s kept the rest of me dry in storms. Also large enough to have two people under it and small enough to have an excuse to get closer to someone if you’re trying to close the distance. The zipper on the cover is also a great addition and has saved me a lot of hassles. The only thing that rusts is the clasp, but I closed it wet. I’ve let it dry since then and no more rust has appeared or gotten worse. The handle also has a grip texture and material and that has made all the difference keeping this from flying from my hand, slipping away, and shaking water off. The tension or spring has reduced since I bought it, but it’s 4 years later. It still shoots out and snaps the water off, just not as fast anymore.

I ordered this umbrella considering its low price and the fact that it has an auto-open and close feature for this price. However, the first thing I noticed was its small size. It’s barely enough for a single person, so in heavy rains, it will struggle to keep you dry.
I also noticed that it does not have any branding on it, so it appears to be a Chinese product. Nonetheless, considering the price, the build and quality of this umbrella is not that bad. The auto open and close feature works well. In fact, when you press the button, the umbrella opens so rapidly that it feels like you are firing a gun. It also closes automatically with the push of a button, but then you have to pull it very hard towards you to close it completely, so I would say that it is a bit difficult to close.
The ribs seem to be made out of aluminium and fiber, but they are quite strong, so no complaints on that front. The product listing claims that it has Teflon coating to repel water droplets, but when I tested it, the water sticks to its surface, so I guess there is no coating on it. However, considering the price, one can’t expect to get all the features of a very expensive umbrella.
To summarize, if you need a portable budget umbrella that can fit inside your bag or purse, you can give it a try. But if you need a large umbrella, it is not recommended.
I hope this review was helpful to you. Thanks for reading!

At first I thought $15 was expensive for an umbrella, but I now see that there is a huge quality difference between this one, and the cheap ones you can pick up at any store for $5. The handle is not that thin cheap plastic stuff. It’s durable, the perfect size, and comfortable to hold. It has a little grip to it, so it won’t slip out of your hand like the smooth plastic ones. I didn’t realize how great this feature was until we did an hour walk in the rain. I usually struggle to hold my umbrella. The open/close mechanism is strong. Like if it slips back when you’re closing it in front of you, you could break a rib! But it fully opens in a flash, no assistance needed. I haven’t used it on a really windy day but I can tell that the pole in the middle is made well. There is no jiggling or play in the umbrella when it’s open. The cover is nice quality and has a zipper for easy slip in. This would be good for travel, as it is compact, but is not as lightweight as the plastic ones. However this one will last and function well for years to come. I’m ordering another one!

Extremely poor quality cloth is used in this umbrella. Got holes in 5 days uses.

Nice compact, convenient, and easily portable umbrella. It is not the strongest in wind and did fold back on itself in a storm but it resumed its shape once I was able to close it again. Overall I’m happy with the quality at this price.
