Before trying the BEBIRD Ear Wax Removal Tool, I thought my ears were pretty clean. How wrong I was! The tool opened my eyes (and ears) to a problem I didn’t know I had. Here’s why I think everyone should have this in their home healthcare arsenal:

I purchased the BEBIRD Ear Wax Removal Tool with the upgraded R1 model, primarily out of curiosity and the desire to educate my 6-year-old on the inside of the ear. The 1080P camera provides a clear visual of the ear canal, making it an engaging and educational experience for my child. Beyond its educational aspect, the tool has proven to be incredibly useful for keeping ears clean for the entire family. The smart visual earwax cleaning kit, equipped with 6 LED lights, and the variety of 10 ear scoop tips replacement make it a comprehensive solution for maintaining ear hygiene. Overall, it has become a handy and informative tool for the whole family.
Cons: Tough for little babies and should be very very careful operating it with out knoweledge.stays out of young kids hands please

I was expecting less for the price, but this is truly a quality product at a great value. The camera is very high quality and shows incredible detail (point of reference, I use a Galaxy S23+) and there is no lag in the video stream to the app. The large variety of tips and speculums are of high manufacturing quality. Some of the negative reviews are horrifying, but I’m glad they did not deter me from trying this thing out. I don’t understand how someone could possibly break a tip inside their ear unless they were using far too much force, seriously uncoordinated, or simply being reckless.
That said, this is a tool that obviously should be used gently and carefully. Just as you would not ram a Qtip deep inside your ear, don’t just shove this (or anything) straight into your body. Practice with the device and try out the different accessories it comes with on the outer ear, nostril, and throat to get comfortable with how to manueuver it via the video feed. When ready to use deeper in the ear, go very slowly, and pay attention to the streaming video as you are moving within the ear. I was able to very clearly see my ear drum and where the tip was moving along the ear canal so that I did not go too far. To get a better camera angle while inside the ear, try pulling down on your ear lobe to open up the ear and rotate the device (without moving deeper) so that the camera has a clear line of sight beyond the tip. The accessories included with the device are designed well and help you accomplish the task. If you can look in a mirror and apply lash mascara without poking your eye, you probably already have the skills and coordination needed to operate this device safely. Just be extra gentle and use common sense, e.g. if you experience any pain or discomfort – stop immediately.
I had zero issues downloading the app and connecting to the device’s wi-fi signal – it takes about 60 seconds and should be easy for anyone familiar with smart devices generally. The app is very basic and simply functions to receive the live video feed from the device wirelessly (which it does very well) and if desired, to capture photos/video. Nothing more, nothing less. If you need detailed step-by-step instructions on how to use a device like this, or are expecting health education resources to guide you through what you are observing with the camera, the app will not suit your needs.
I highly recommend this product.

I have always had problems with ear wax blocking my ear drum causing me to lose hearing in both ears. I use this in conjunction with debrox ear wash and the inside of my ears are squeaky clean. I use this tool with one of the scooping tools to remove the big chunks. Honestly, I was just curious to see what it looked like in there. It’s super nifty and the quality is pretty good. The only gripe i have is that you have to keep your phone fairly close. I would say no more than maybe 2 feet max away from the tool or the camera lags and that could potentially be dangerous so be careful with that! The blue tips have a silicone sleeve around them but they do not flex at all. It comes with so many little tips that screw on so its not going to fall off in your ear. Overall, it’s a super neat tool & i would highly recommend!
