Wonderfully heavy, sturdy piece of furniture. But the best part of the purchase was the customer service man at Bush. I had to call the 800 number, because I thought the drawer pulls and wheels were missing. Turns out they can fall BEHIND the lower drawer and you have to pull lower drawer all the way out to find them. This poor man at Bush not only endured my fumbling and confusion as i tried to follow his instructions, but he was also so reassuring and kind and with unlimited
patience ! Obviously, a US based office, i could understand every word easily. I truly appreciate that Bush does not ship customer questions half way around the world, but deals with you directly. This company was a pleasure to deal with.

This piece was very conveniently packaged, arrived almost completely assembled (only missing wheels and drawer handles which only took 5 minutes to install). The quality is more than satisfying for the price and quick delivery. A win for the office and very cute

Good-looking, sturdy, and reliable file cabinet. It is a part of the Bush business furniture set, which serves us for almost 20 years and look like new. This item is more expensive than the one in the set but it comes assembled – that saved my time.
The only negative was the Amazon delivery. Instead of leaving it, as usual, at the front door, they drove around the house to a low land and left this large box at the deck ladder under the rain. So I had to lift it under the rain over this high ladder – like to the second floor. Worst delivery ever – in my experience.

No assembly, just had to add casters. Key for lock was missing. Solid, sturdy. Would have given 5 stars if we got the key.

I LOVE the Bush C Series office furniture. I have lots of this collection in my home office and it holds up very well. Recently after rearranging my office, I found that I needed more storage. The three drawer pedestal was a piece I had considered picking up in the beginning with the other parts of my desk setup but just never did it.
Now that I have space between our two desks I found that space to be the perfect width for this pedestal to slide into. After reading some of the comments below on how it came with no hardware I was a bit worried mine would come that way as well. What can go wrong will go wrong right?
After removing it from the box I noticed no hardware or wheels. Well, so I thought. I bet everyone else who says it didn’t come with the hardware and wheels will find that they are with the product but just hidden. Not inside any of the drawers, no, that would be too easy. They happened to be behind the locking drawer. Once you pull that door open all the way look behind it and you will find the hardware and wheels.
Seems a bit of an odd place to put the bag of equipment but I’m just happy I didn’t have to try to call customer care to have them mailed out. I was able to easily put the handles and wheels on and slide it into place with no hassle.
I did check to see if the rest of the bolts had been screwed together correctly because I wanted to make sure nothing was loose or broken.
Everything was correctly put together so no complaints from me. I’m a happy customer.

I love my file cabinet. It is exactly like the file cabinets I have at work so I knew what to expect….and what not to. When we buy for the office (local government office) we have the office supply vendor assemble them. I did not want to do that so I ordered it assembled. All it heeded installed were the drawer pulls and wheels. It was a breeze! It did take a little longer than expected to arrive but it was in perfect condition… no scratches or nicks. It fit right under my desk. Although I need two I ordered one to see how it arrived. I will order a 2nd one soon. I priced the item locally and this Amazon vendor had the best deal.

I purchased this file cabinet, along with a matching desk for my new office. I’m impressed with the looks. It looks very professional and is sturdy. It was easy to put together – but I ordered is pre assembled. I only had to add the wheels and drawer hardware. It was worth it to me to pay the extra. I like the idea of being able to add more pieces as time goes on to match the set..

We bought these to match units we had bought a number of years ago. The colors were so close you cannot tell the old from the new. It’s needed drawer space in a well-used home office. Assembly of handles and wheels was a breeze with a drill with phillips head bit.
The units arrived with only a couple of small chips in hidden places. Fit and finish is only so-so. The drawer faces are a bit misaligned, and the drawers do not always close all the way and sometimes drift open a little, particularly the large file drawer. We keep the keys in the units so that they can be locked just so the drawers stay closed. The keys are kind of a joke anyway, they are all the same, and the keys from the old units work with the new.
The big design flaw is that the wheels cannot be locked. So opening a drawer is a two-handed operation, one hand to open the drawer and the other to hold the unit in place. I am searching for solutions, perhaps just a small rubber wheel stop to prevent sliding.
Update: I ordered small rubber wheel stoppers from Amazon and they work like a charm on our hardwood floors. I put them under the front wheels of the file cabinet only. Not only do they allow the drawers to be opened without moving the cabinets, they also tilt the cabinet ever slow slightly and keep unlocked drawers from sliding out.
