I got this to peel my wife’s corn and it works great, easy to use and it’s sturdy. I liked it so much I bout one for my mom.

Bonjour j’aime , mais pour avoir essayé celui en rond que l’épi entre à l’intérieur !! Beaucoup plus apprécié et très facile d’emploi.
Liz in Atlanta –
This is the best kitchen device! It strips the corn off so fast. Works on raw, grilled or microwaved corn. Blades are sharp and it is really simple to use.

My man has bridges & can’t eat corn on the cob but loves it off the grill. This is perfect for him so he can take the kernels off. Also great for of u have kids that can’t bite off the kernels
James A. –
Very easy to use
Cleve O –
I was able to easily remove the corn kernels from two ears of corn. The kernels had excellent presentation and it was very easy to clean.
Cleve O –
Hard to use. Took too long. Really didn’t like anything about it.

…from Temu at a ridiculously low price. (The catch is that Temu wants (and sells) too much personal data in return for the low price. The Amazon price was higher but I trust Amazon to use my data to sell to me but not to sell it to others.) Any way, the device is bright, shiny, and sharp (be sure the hand holding the corn is above the direction of the cut. Does well what you might buy it for.

As you can see in the product image, you basically have to hold the corn in a way that risks you cutting yourself. While the blade isn’t super sharp and therefore not completely unsafe, if it was in the oriented in the opposite direction, you’d be able to place the cob on a plate or something and push it down. Because of how it is oriented now, you really can’t do that. Another option is for them to put a pivoting head on it like a shaving razor, so you could push down and not have to hold the cob. I was really impressed with the fact that it seems to truly be stainless steel and feels like a quality, substantial tool. Unfortunately a little design flaw means my wife probably will choose to just go back to using a knife.
