Just took it out of box. Excellent packaging. Casserole dish looks very high end! Reminds me of Beleek china. I look forward to cooking with it for Christmas and sure hope it cooks as great as it looks. I’ll definitely look at purchasing more Dowan pieces as soon as I try it out!

Ceramic, porcelain heat up to 500 degrees. Extra deep with a handle lip to sides. After baking it cleans well. Lead free. I chose this one to avoid metal toxins into my food while baking at high heat. I know metal pans say safe, “Up to this heat?” Well, not good enough for me. This pan seems to be the one for me. Four stars, it’s just me, it’s heavy. My old hands just hurt.

I bought this pan for making my lasagna. I splurged and got the blue pan, and I t is very pretty. I wanted to wait until I used it the first time to leave a review.
Pros – The pan is nice and deep for 3 layers of lasagna with chunky meat sauce, 3 types of cheese, and noodles. I didn’t have to grease the pan at all! Even after baking, the lasagna easily came out of the pan without sticking even a tiny bit. It washed up like a dream. I did put it to soak because there was sauce splatter really baked onto the handles and edges. When I went to wash it, I didn’t have to scrub in the slightest. Everything just came right off with the sponge, and it looked brand new. I was amazed! Not even my Corning Wear will do that!
Cons – It is heavy. I have MS, and don’t always have strength in my hands. Once it was loaded with the lasagna, it was very heavy to get in and out from the oven. I had to be very careful getting it in an out of the oven and while washing it for fear I would drop it.

This truly is the perfect dish. It fits lasagna without spilling over, handled the green bean casserole like a dream and looks very nice on the table to serve straight out of! I just purchased a second one! Love this dish!

I wish I had bought a deep dish for lasagna years ago! When I think of all the years I complained about not being able to get the thick layers in my lasagna I wanted because it never occurred to me to look for a deeper dish then I could just kick myself. This dish is so great! The depth is fantastic, it is super easy to clean, and it is pretty as well. I want to buy one of these for everyone I know!

This is the perfect size – slightly larger and deeper, but fits in our standard oven. Weight isn’t more than the old one either, which was a pleasant surprise.
