This rug is incredibly soft: so soft it might almost be dangerous to walk on in some shoes: I nearly slipped on the rug while wearing smooth, rubber soled shoes. But it is VERY soft and silky: perfect for a tween room. They’re going to want to hang out on their rug all day, I think: it’s so comfortable. It almost seems as though it came with it’s own soft rug padding: just a light padding, but enough. It *feels* lush. I chose the 5 x 7 in Wine Red, which is like a burgundy and it seems accurate to color as pictured. The wrinkles are still showing in my photos. The manufacturer includes a note that explains the wrinkles will fade in a couple of days, as it is shipped in vacuum-sealed plastic. My girls LOVE this rug.

My studio floor reflects a lot of sound, so I ordered this to cut down on reverberation.
FEARED OVER NOTHING
I had several concerns when I ordered this rug. I thought my office chair wheels would bump into it and get stuck, but nope; I can barely feel when I back over the rug. I thought my Dyson “pet hair” vacuum cleaner would suck the fibers right out of the rug, but after a good vacuuming, I couldn’t find any red fibers in the collection chamber. I thought the tiny anti-slip dots built into the rug would slide right across my linoleum, but the cumulative effect is a firm grip on my floor.
APPEARANCE
With my blue and purple mood lights on, this rug looks lush and amazing! Even with the lights on, the wine color looks nice in combination with my red velvet curtains, my chocolate blackout curtains, and my brick colored linoleum. When I first pulled the rug out of its industrially vacuum sealed shipping bag, it looked absolutely pathetic. But, per the instructions, I left it alone for 48 hours and it rebounded to fullness on its own.
FEEL
Silky. To my hands, and especially to my bare feet, it feels luxurious.
CLEANING
This can be tricky to vacuum. With the deep shag, little bits of stuff get stuck. I’ve been on my hands and knees a few times picking things out of the rug with my fingernails. Dropping anything sticky like a peeled off price tag or a bit of tap is a mistake—I’ve had to yank bits of rug out to remove sticky items. Using a good vacuum cleaner mostly works to get out non-sticky debris, but I have to roll the beater brush slowly to make sure it has enough time to beat particles out of the fabric. I haven’t had to wash it yet, but according to the instruction manual, I can throw it into a washing machine.
SOUND
It does the job. There’s less reverberation in my studio.
I’m pretty happy with this rug, but I wouldn’t buy another because it’s too hard to vacuum. I will update this review again if anything else changes.

My house has tiled floors throughout: easy to sweep clean and cool during most of the year – but those tiles can be cold underfoot in winter! As a result, I am always on the lookout for nice rugs that will curb the chill without breaking the bank – and this one certainly fits the bill.
It ships in a vacuum-sealed bag, so it doesn’t look like a 6-foot by 4-foot rug when it arrives, but it starts to expand as soon as the bag is opened – so stand well back! I put it at the foot of the bed and it looks great: all of my bedroom furniture is dark wood and the wine rug goes very nicely with the bed and dresser – but the wine would also be an equally good fit with the light pine furniture elsewhere in the house. And, while I’m using it on tiles, obviously it would be a nice accent rug on a carpeted rug.
The shag is deeper than I had expected, which is nice, and very soft under bare feet – no more brrrr…. in the bedroom! There is a rubber backing that keeps the rug in place when I walk on it – no slapstick sliding for me – but somehow the cats can manage to shift the rug when they launch themselves from it or chase each other across it, so it is not *completely* non-slip!
According to the manufacturer, the rug is machine-washable: I haven’t had to test that yet, but it’s good to know, should the need ever arise – I just need to remember to air dry it!
The rug is available in a range of sizes and colors: I am very happy with the 6’x4’ in wine and would have no hesitation in getting the same style in a different size or color for my home.

The rug is very pretty. It’s a deep Navy blue color. It’s also true to size. The only itty bitty problem that I have is that it’s slick. Slick and silky. I walked across it on dress shoes and slid a bit. Besides that, it’s a very nice rug. It’s very plush and it looks great…just don’t walk across it with shoes that have no tread!

This is the ugliest, cheap ass carpet I’ve ever seen or purchased. The thing comes shrink wrapped that’s already a bad sign from China. As the title says do not buy! Do yourself a favor and just go to Walmart like my family members suggested. You can buy ones that are rolled, and are of much better quality. This thing makes me just feel sick looking at it let alone even trying to unfold it.
