I bought this because I couldn’t find a hand held unit like my old one. That one had a very small grater hole size that made almost perfect grated cheese — small very finely pieces. It broke and I started using one that my wife had. It was ungainly and made thicker pieces of cheese. And it was almost painful to squeeze for more than a minute or two.
I got this one and it’s pretty good. It sticks to the counter very well. It chews through a large piece of cheese extremely quickly but the grate on the cheese is still pretty large and not terribly fine. I can get through a 8 oz. piece of cheese within 30 seconds or less. That’s about what we use in a week. The device itself is nicely designed: easy to assemble and take apart. The grating wheel is sort of flimsy so if you’re grating a hard cheese , it’s best not to press to hard on the feeder. Because the grater wheel will deform slightly. Cleaning it is a bit of a pain in aß. The clear plastic main housing needs to be cleaned by hand. The grating wheel harbors some residual cheese. All of which needs to be manually removed.
Overall, I like it because of its speed and relative ease of use. It’s kind of large and when assembled takes up quite a bit of room in a drawer or cabinet. The extra grating/cutting wheels are nice but I haven’t used them yet. I wish that there was a finer grating wheel to make a. more finely grated cheese.
But overall, I’m happy and my hands don’t ache when I have to grate any cheese.

Absolutely love and wish I had discovered this product years ago! It easily snaps together and shreds all types of cheese in no time. Very easy clean up as I throw most of it in the dishwasher. I thought it would be one of those products that is unnecessary and goes unused after the initial excitement, but my kids still fight over who gets the cheese shredding job. All guests I’ve had that have witnessed it are impressed and want to try it too. Great quality products as the plastic is heavy. This turned a once dredded chore into fun! Would definitely buy this again and will probably end up buying several more as gifts.

i love it after 2 weeks of it being lost in the mail the post office lady and i did some digging and we found the canada post tracking number in china post website we both chuckled and sure enough it came up and i got the grater its an amazing rotary grater i recemmend it:)

Easy to use, dishwasher safe. I purchased this because my old stand up shredder broke. This is so much easier and efficient than a stand up shredder. Much easier on the hand and wrist too. Does very well with cheese and carrots. It doesn’t slice onions well which is the only draw back, but I didn’t expect it to.

I have tried many graters over the years but this one is super easy to use and actually stays suctioned to the counter! It comes apart really easy and is super easy to wash. I’ve parted with my other graters and am getting rid of my old standby the box grater. I’ve grated veggies like zucchini and cheddar cheese. With the cheese you need to manually pull out the cheese from the shoot before it gets clogged up. would 100% buy again

This cheese grater is absolutely excellent. I can use it conveniently it washes easily and I get great shredded cheese. Every time that someone who loves quesadillas and pimento cheese it’s a must have in my kitchen. I will never go back to the box grader, or pre-purchased shredded cheese that saves me money as well because we use about 10 pounds of cheese a month. It becomes part easily, and washes quickly without to highly recommend.

Easy to assemble and take apart to clean. Has 3 different blades that all work great. Would of liked a additional blade that would of cut a little thicker. I also like that it has a suction cup that stays in place while you use it. It grated block cheese so quick and easy.I would recommend it to others.

This grater makes quick work of shredding veggies and cheese – it’s a big time saver over using flat or box metal graters.
Everything is plastic aside from the grating cylinder, and feels quite solid. There’s a base with knob-activated suction base, the slide and lock in grating housing, the metal grating cylinder, lock-in handle, and an insert to push food items down to the grater. Everything slides into place easily, and locks in solidly. Parts do not move around once assembled and with the suction base, it remains stable and in place on a solid counter.
The grating cylinder is sharp and food items are quickly grated – far faster, and safer, than using other typical metal graters. There are three cylinders – shredding, slicing, and fine grating. Easily interchangeable.
Disassembly is easy as the parts unlock and slide back out. Cleanup is simple for the large pieces. There is one opening in the base of the grating chamber which can collect and hold water when cleaned in the dishwasher, depending on how it’s arranged on the rack. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to keep in mind when unloading to keep the water from spilling out onto other items in the dishwasher or onto the floor. It’s easy to pour out that water and allow to dry before storing it away.
Overall, very easy to (dis)assemble and use, easy to clean, and makes grating work faster and safer.
