Excited the lids weren’t broken upon arrival due to the extreme cold this past week…. but one of the totes edges were broken off instead. The bins are great and are perfect for all my hanging folders though. FYI- After reading other reviews, I looked up IRIS online and called customer service and they were awesome. They’re sending me a new tote right away. MUCH easier than having to return all 4 bins to Amazon and have them shipped again.

The file boxes are nice and serve their purpose. Unfortunately, the packaging is very poor for shipping this product. Like other reviews, a lid was cracked and cannot be used. I didn’t want to send all of these back. I called IRIS to see if I could just get a lid replaced. I was told one would be sent out but it would take 30 days. No lid ever showed up. Unless they change the way these are packaged, expect something to be cracked on arrival.

You can’t beat the price for this product and the quality is great and they are lockable. They come in a 4PK and different colors and I got the clear bins because I am going to use them for my hanging bill files that are getting tooo full in my desk. These Bins will also handle hanging legal size folders. By ordering clear bins I can use my extra ones to put items that I have stored in different sized boxes in my garage in them and be able to see what is in them and most of all they are STACKABLE. FANTASTIC DEAL FOR THE PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two shipments of 4 bins per box. One arrived in just the manufacturer’s carton shipped to Amazon and had the bottom bin busted. See photos. Second shipment arrived with the manufacturer’s carton in an Amazon p5 box and all four bins were fine.
Price is good. But expect some damage due to differences in shipping packaging and handling. Once here, I’ve had no failures of the ones that survive shipping and handling. Fit well on garage shelving and stacked with light loads. Use common sense. Will likely order more when needed.

Great for hanging files & FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE I purchased these file boxes for transporting hanging files for a scanning project. When the box arrived, one of the lids was cracked.
I tried to contact them thru Amazon’s ‘contact seller’ route with no success. However, with 1 short phone call to them…(easily found with a quick search) and a replacement cover was on it’s way.

Good products and reasonable price, the only issue is the packaging was not good. I’ve purchased this item many times and always have to return one of the two orders because there is no protection on the bins and handing is rough. They usually arrived damaged

Promptly resent because of previous broken container and sending theses back. Will be returning -ONLY because of our below zero -24 wind chill, weather. This box was handed to us so never hit the ground here but is broken…again. I’m waiting a week to reorder as it should be above freezing and much easier on plastics! Dang cold weather!

I love these bins and they arrived damage free. I previously used the cardboard file Bo es and over time the cardboard would crush. I decided to give these a try and so far they are proving to be a great alternative. They stack well and work well with both standard file folders and hanging file folders. I have not used with legal sizes documents or files. I use with standard file folders for retention. That way I have additional room should I need to lay something on top. With hanging folders I have not yet had an issue with folders falling but do not have a lot of weight in any of the folders. The tabs hit just below the lid when closed. I am very happy with this purchase and will be purchasing a second set for file retention.
One note, I would not consider them air tight as the lids don’t fit as securely as I would like. Sometimes it takes a little shushing to get them to click/lock on.
Only hickup I encountered is more deliveries going through the post office. In our area they will not always delivery larger boxes which means I must go and pick them up from the post office. This is a huge inconvenience especially when you are paying for prime. I have also found that most deliveries routed this way are a day behind in delivery. In cases where they don’t deliver, I typically get the notice to pick it up a day after I was supposed to receive it. Then I can’t pick it up until at least the next day, longernif on a weekend.
