There is a hard piece of plastic on the tip of the duster. When reaching the corner where the wall meets the ceiling. the sound of the hard plastic scrapes along the paint. As far as the cobweb component, it works well, as does the telescopic pole.

Omg I am in love. I have hated my popcorn ceilings for 8 years now. I am not sure where this thing has been all my life but now I will not be able to live without it! The round long bristle brush cleaned everything except the popcorn plaster, off my ceiling. I cannot say enough good things about this product. The other duster works as well but dang I am so happy!!! I think I will buy everyone on my Christmas list one!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Love this. It reaches most of the spider webs in my screened in pool area and the corners with high ceilings in the house. It also dusted the bathroom fans really well that I couldn’t reach

This is probably all you’ll need to get cobwebs and dust off of indoor/outdoor fixtures and ceilings. The bristled brush works well at getting webs off stucco, and the soft duster easily removes webs from tight spaces. I only wished the telescopic pole was more durable. It feels flimsy when extended.
