We have to keep a back up because every 6 months we switch it out because of her constant chomping. Our Border Collie uses this ball to play soccer inside by hitting and chasing the other ball around the house. Constant hours of fun or a job for her activity level. Made well, but the inner plastic crackle ball does flatten out and after a couple months small pieces of plastic will fall out of the holes. Once it gets like this we pull the inner ball out with pliers to make safe for other animals and children.

My 6 month Golden retriever loves this ball. Only problem s the inside noise maker doesn’t last. There are hard pieces of stuff coming out and I don’t know if it’s safe for her to get out.

I have had dogs all my life and for the first time I have an aggressive chewer. What he loves about this ball is it sounds like he is breaking something, but it doesn’t break. It’s the right size for him (he is a 10 month old golden retriever) It bounces and is chewable without being destroyed. It sounds like it is being wrecked but it seems to endure even a destroyer puppy.

I’m not sure what the magic is with this thing – just a ball with plastic inside. But either it feels good on the dog’s teeth, or they enjoy the noise, or something, as they can play with these for hours even if not playing fetch. And no squeaking! My dogs love them.

I knew my dog liked squeaky toys but a toy that continually crackles when he bites down on it? HE IS OBSESSED. This fetch loving dog usually shares his toys hoping I’ll play with him… but this toy? — He only makes it like half way to me (when I ask him to share lol!) before plopping himself down again to squeeze it more. Can’t say I’m complaining! 🤣
👉 The only thing are the colors! Thankfully my dog got a blue color ball but a purple insert???…. Please let us choose our colors! I’m sure they’d get more orders if they did. I’ve kinda decided my dogs colors are blue, orange, green… anyone else relate? 🤣🙋♀️
🚨UPDATE- The inside part that crackles does get squished down. It still crackles though maybe just not as “dramatic” sounding as before (hence 1 star off). Still worth it! The outside part is very durable!

I bought this for my Siberian Husky mix who’s an avid chewer. He absolutely loved it but it only lasted 4 days until the middle ball was all crunched up and the product lost its main purpose and was relegated to just being an “un-crunchy” ball. My dog weights 50 lbs and the medium wasn’t enough. We’re buying the large since we initially had so much success in entertaining him for the few days.
