not firm enough to hold hard cover books, some rods may dislocate too.

Very sturdy and so easy to assemble. I have approximately 80 articles of clothing folded and stored in this in any given day. No issues at all. Great price point and clear instructions. All folded clothes fit in the cubbies perfectly and easy to get to. Will purchase again if need another one.

This inexpensive shelf is easy to assemble, lightweight, and comes with extra pieces just in case. However, I don’t recommend it for several reasons:
1. Over time it seems to be slowly collapsing under its own weight. The plastic and lightweight material can’t support itself and the few small things I have on it. You should be able to use all the shelves. I only have light items on some of the shelves because this would not support anything heavy, like books.
2. The shelves are not flat, they all have bars with a limp sheet of plastic cloth draped over them. This means that you can’t display any items, unless you buy or construct flat rigid surface to fit in each cube. This adds to the weight it already can’t support.
3. I’m not sure what this shelf is for. I can’t put books on it, can’t display items or plants on it, and it’s slowly falling in on itself. I purchased a few cloth boxes to slide into the cubes, and use them to store socks and linens, but I don’t have enough socks and linens to justify this big shelf. I don’t think it could support the weight of that much fabric anyway.
4. Misleading low price. This shelf seems like such a bargain, but after buying inserts and fabric cube drawers and it not supporting the weight of a few light items, I realize I should have saved my money and bought something more sturdy.

It was not as sturdy as I expected but once it is together it’s pretty good. Took a while to put together. It works great as a stand for toy bins.

I loved that it’s able to hold a lot of heavy books and has a little rack on the side, I didn’t like how long it took to build because I feel that the poles are really hard to put on each side but you can build it however you like it to look but say you don’t push the poles all the way in you have to sorta smack them on each side with a little hammer they give you. But overall it’s amazing for a good deal and a good size

Very well built not sure if it was my own stupidity or the instructions as I can’t find the instructions to verify but I think I put the sleeves on wrong lol. Otherwise as long as your careful it is kinda brittle depending on how much force you put on the metal beams. Otherwise I love it. It’s absolutely perfect for holding onto my collectibles 🙂

I use them for my FUNKO pops and collectibles and they are perfect. I love the ability to customize and build it the way you want, although I will say the metals rods are a little too flimsy and easy to damage.

I bought this to catify a room. It makes a great cat tree, sturdy enough for fat cats and you can create many configuration options. I attached two photos (1) just this product (2) my final result with a ramp connecting it to a cube shelf.
The height is almost exactly like other standard cube/wire storage shelves, which means you can make a ramp or bridge connecting this one to your existing cube shelves.
It looks surprisingly good, although getting it completely straight seems impossible. The two wall anchors came in handy because this shelf is unstable. Since it is so hard to get the sides straight, it has a wobble.
Assembly is tedious and takes at least twice as long as other cube/wire shelving, because there are so many parts.
If you are used to using zip ties to make such shelving more sturdy, be aware that you cannot use zip ties to connect these pieces.
Overall, this is great and I just ordered another one!

Im giving a 3 star because of my own lack of research about the product before purchasing. Otherwise itd be 2 star or even 1. It is easy to assemble, HOWEVER, it is a nightmare to keep together once you do have it assembled. Its plastic and very very cheap thin metal rods that give this structure. Although I shouldn’t expect a crazy good product out of 40$, Im not sure I trust this thing at all stability wise. If you pull on it too much one way, or maybe even trying to get something big out that may be pushing the walls apart, it can very easily come apart and then its a pain to put back together. You almost have to mount it to the wall if you plan on having anything remotely heavy in it like books or a TV. And even then it comes apart again. Its a great idea but a very poor execution. I think a little more consideration into material and rigidity of the structure may up the price, but Id rather spend a little more than get something Im already considering replacing after just 2 days.
