    The advertisement on Amazon stated the item was made in USA. The product included a flyer that clearly stated “Made in China”. The country of origin matters, especially between these two countries.

    Bought 5×8 for an area rug. It was easy to cut to size and more substantial than others I’ve bought over the years./

    I use this in my living room under our large CK area rug we got from Costco and it worked out well for me. It does a much better job of keeping the mat in place and adds a smidge cushion to the rug so it feels even nicer to walk on and absorbs a tiny bit of heavy footed noise too (as an added bonus). Grab this if you are like me and have a rug that doesn’t have any grip built into the back side to keep things generally more in the right place than bunched up in the wrong place. If you can grab it on sale, I think it would be a decent value!
