Ordered this for an old classic that I have to store outside some of the time… wanted it to be completely waterproof, not simply water resistant. When received, was very surprised at how light weight it was given that it was claimed to be “multi-layer”. I have now used it several times and it appears to be quite waterproof… however, I question how long it will remain that way. Given its light weight construction I don’t think it would survive severe weather for long. I ordered the size recommended for my car and it fits very well… almost looks custom fitted. So far, so good, but I don’t think it will turn out to be durable.

I figured the “up to 157″ would fit a 151” Cooper S. It does not. There is at least 3 inches of grill left uncovered, while the tail pipe with a few inches up also remains uncovered. I would say just order a size up but, the quality is sketchy at best. It is thinner than paper and if water can pool, it will soak through. Be careful.

Form and fit were very good. However on two occasions wind blew it off the car. On the second time, fabric snagged on bushes and ripped on its full length. Looking for a better design that stays put.

Dropping from 5 stars to 1 as it became as fragile as old newspaper in 6 months and ripped to shreds in a very light breeze. The car is in a pocket in the North-East corner of a very tall house so gets sun only in the mornings in the Carolinas, so this is absurd that it took so much sun damage in such a short period of time. The photo was taken around 2pm, so you can see it’s in the shade most of the time. It’d probably last a month somewhere that gets serious sun, like in FL. It’s only useful as a dust cover inside a garage… don’t buy it for outdoor use.

It’s hard to find a car cover that fits the low wedge shape of a Triumph TR7 or TR8, and this one fits perfectly! (Amazon’s sizing chart is wrong!) My only complaint is that if it’s a heavy enough rainstorm, the rain *will* soak through and the cover will be stuck down to the car by the water. That’s quite a surprise as this really feels and looks like it’s waterproof.

This is good car cover for my Audi A3 2016. The car isn’t hot, the car looks clean when I remove the cover. I am not a tall person. It was a bit of a challenge to put the cover on but I figured out how to make it simpler for me to put on. If you don’t put the lock on to support the cover it will come off when it’s windy. The cover is lightweight. I think the fabric could be a bit more durable and thicker. Recently, it rained it was very windy and debris hit the cover and now I have two rips on the cover. I am gtateful there wasn’t danaged to my car. I taped the those areas and I can still use the cover and will continue to use it. I would recommend not using the cover when it is very windy out. Put car in garage.
