What I received were actual Oneida flatware, I had seen that some people in the past had gotten obvious counterfeit flatware that wasn’t Oneida. This flatware is strong, have the correct weight to them, and you can see in my pictures of what the real stuff looks like, see the Oneida marking on the back, that is where the counterfeit stuff just said, “made in china” I took a picture of the serving set because it doesn’t show them in the pictures for the set, I had to go to the Oneida website to see what was coming as the serving set of utensils. each piece comes in it’s own plastic sleeve to protect it in shipping from scratches. I will probably order two of the four packs of steak knives for this set. I’m happy with this purchase.

Great product and good price . I especially like that all was securely wrapped and covered inside the box . Most flatware have one of each type in an open side of a box which is not sanitary . This one I can use all of it !

These are really nice, great quality and elegant design. Cleaning them is extremely easy and no rust so far. The smaller sizes are not too small but very small kid friendly too. While the larger size is perfect for adults or cooking needs.

It is hard to find good suitable dinner spoons. These are excellently designed and manufactured. They are graceful and functional. They feel excellent in the hand, ergonomic. Not all spoons are equal. These are built well and the edges are polished nicely. Except for the very point area of the spoons, which were sharp at the edges around the tip of the spoons. I suspect this is because spoon designers know that discerning customers require a dinner spoon that is sharp at the tip for cutting into specialty foods and deserts. It is notable that the rest of the spoon is polished and the sides of the spoon do not pose a threat of cutting the sides of your mouth.
I used a small diamond impregnated round file to polish off the sharp edges at the tip of each of the dinner spoons. I prefer them polished and not sharp.
In conclusion these are notably good spoons. I only like certain dinner spoons. These spoons were purchased with low expectations. My initial impression was even unremarkable but after my first use I discovered great appreciation for these high quality spoons.
I evaluated the spoons based on functionality and overall quality. I do not use a matching silverware set. I purchase the knives that I want and they never match anything else. I use high quality unmatched silverware sets. I’m happy to find nice items to add to my collection. Discarding lesser quality designs.

I have purchased other Oneida utensil sets in the past and they seemed to be a little heavier than these. Also, the two different spoon sizes are not all that different. However, I am very happy with them. They are pretty and as pictured.

Flight is a common pattern from Oneida. It is in their middle to less expensive line and is a simple pattern that goes with most things. I like the handle for the knives as they don’t cut into my hand. So when My son wanted to have some real flatware for his new home, he chose the same pattern as we have. The Ice Tea or Beverage spoons are perfect for tall drinks and match the original pattern. We got a set of the Beverage spoons for us as well as the next generation out on their own. Very reasonable.
