I have never trimmed my cat’s hair before. So I was terrified but these were really easy to use! And they didn’t hurt him which is what I was afraid of. In fact, with some treats he just sat there and let me trim him. It’s also not super loud, at least not for our cat he’s usually easily spooked but he didn’t even look at the trimmer when it turned on.
It was difficult figuring out each individual part of the pack, I wish the manual was more detailed but with some trial and error it worked out. It obviously doesn’t look like a groomer trimmed him, but he looks much neater and happier with less fur getting in his way. We’ll still be visiting the groomer now and then just for a professional touch up but he can definitely go longer without those stressful long appointments!

Before purchasing I read the reviews and decided to buy this. Happy I did….Worked great on cat! Low noise…could barely hear it. Easy to trim Matting on cat! Highly recommend

Background info: my dog is hyper sensitive around her paws, she doesn’t like loud noises, and can only handle discomfort in short instances before trying to hop off the table or run out of the room. I use this on a long haired dachshund mix.
Pros of kit:
-Strong battery life for use on a small dog. Used this today at max speed, non stop, for about 30 minutes, and it only went down to 75% battery.
-Low noise. This tool is not “quiet” or “silent.” Id say it sounds like a lower hum compared to a set of barber clippers. It worked well for my sensitive dog and she had no initial reaction to run like she has with louder clippers.
-Options and consistency. The clipper comes with a few different sizes for guards. I found that they consistently cut clean and efficiently on my long haired pup.
-Easy clean up. Simple design that is easy to open and clean with the use of the provided small brush. Extra oil is also in the kit so you can reapply to blades and motor insert after cleaning off any dog hair.
-Maneuverability. My dog is a “low rider” and has only a few inches of clearance between her belly and the ground. This tool is easy maneuver around her little legs, belly, chest, sides, and back without losing power/efficiency.
Cons of kit:
-Grooming shears. The detailing scissors that are included in the kit are not great quality but they do get the job the done if you’re patient. Mine only cut hair in the middle of the blades and not toward the tip so I can’t do any exact detail work for longer strands. Definitely more of a “blunt” cut with these scissors.
Overall Opinion: I’m not a professional dog groomer, this was my second time using this kit on my pup, I specifically wanted something reliable and wireless, with a strong battery, and low hum. That’s exactly what I got! I’ll update this review after 12 uses to comment on the kits longevity but so far the short term has yielded fabulous results. I would recommend this product for use on smaller dogs!
Please note: the clippers might leave grooming lines where the guard lays on the fur/hair of your dog. If this happens, it’s because your dogs hair grows in different directions and YOU as the groomer need to accommodate for the shape of your dog and where you might need to go over a spot a few times from different angles. You’ll still need to move your dog around to get them trimmed from the direction you want, but overall, I think this is a solid set of clippers and I’m excited to keep using them!

Reading the reviews about products make me so gun shy as there is always one person in there who sound legit but is a Karen.
I have a 8lbs cross DOG who is so connected to home and her sisters here, any excursion out of the house stresses her. Last groomer visit was a call off for good as she had a massive seizure while being working on. So.. I need to learn to do this… I have had access to a few dog trimmers.. they are either corded or huge heavy things which make tons of noise or strangely the blade get so hot, it burns the skin of the dog your working on.. stupid designs..
I bought this thing.. as its well priced and looks like it would do the job…
Firstly its super quiet.. for those of you saying its not, dont know what you are listening to. I put the spacer on (can be fun fighting to take it off – it fights you – on solid) a few dabs of oil, put on low and away i go shaving this hairy mass.. i mean hairy… with the help of my wife holding the victim, i spent maybe 20 – 30 minutes taking my time and doing my best.. not bad.. i do find it works better on high speed versus low… only slight change volume.. i was trimming hair by her ears with no issue… It has most of its charge when i quit and did a quick cleanup and done.. there is a routine to disassemble the blade, clean, lube and reassemeble.. I havent dont that yet.. so maybe my opinion will change.. if i had to complain about anything, its the non english to english manual .. rough worded.. there is an additional piece of paper in there with better drawings (of blade cleaning etc) addd in later.. Lets see if it lasts.. i am definatly ok with this at the moment.

I have a few long haired cats and was paying over a hundred dollars each time to get out fur balls. That quickly added up! But I thought I’m no groomer til I used a man’s razor and realized I could do it! It was so easy, the hair came off like butter! It doesn’t catch skin, it doesn’t hurt cat in fact my cats purred very loudly all during cut! It’s not loud at all! It is different from people razors so don’t try to use one on an animal. It’s made to not get skin.
Anyway it’s a life saver for matted pets, you can watch some videos on using it, it’s an excellent price and you’ll save hundreds if you take cat to groomer! I highly recommend it, would purchase again if need be. You can do it and save money!
I did my 3 cats, which would have cost well over 3 hundred dollars ! It already paid for itself! And it’s fun to use!

This is a fantastic cat grooming kit! It is not loud so a slight buzz, my dad’s cat was not frightened at all.
The box is well designed to keep all the parts in.
His cat was matted on the heavier side so I was not sure if I was tugging? I am not a groomer so I just took my time. For the clean up the 6mm was a good start it took a lot of the long hair away so I would go with a wider attachment next time for that lion cut look.
I took the attachment off and just used the razer to deal with the heavier matted areas and it cleaned up kitty very quickly, smooth finish and his cat MAX was not fussing. He feels so much better and now I can just maintain Max in the future!! This was a great purchase with all the attachments and it arrived the next day!!
Excellent value for your dollar.

I have 3 cats, 1 is short haired, so no probs there, 1 with long fur, and one is a Maine Coon (really long fur). Every long haired cat gets knots and if you let those knots go long enough, they can easily turn into full-body mats. When they turn into mats, it’s very uncomfortable for your cat, not to mention that you’re in for the fight of your life if you need to remove those mats!
I check my long haired cats every week for beginning knots and remove them with clippers. I also own a $200 Andis, and let me tell you they got nothin’ on this very reasonably priced clipper! My girl’s fur is very feather-like, but her undercoat is fuzzy and this is where the knots/mats begin. When this arrived, it was fully charged and I used it right away to remove a few knots she had in her fur. Yes, she complains loudly because she hates to be handled. However, it took me all of 5 minutes to git ‘er done! I couldn’t believe how smoothly this went right through the knots where my Andis can’t even do it! I was amazed! I even removed a rather large knot that our Maine Coon had in a matter of minutes. Much less stress on the kitties and YOU, too!
I love that it’s cordless and comes with guide combs if you don’t want to shave your boys and girls down to skin. The clipper is not big and clunky or hard to handle. Being cordless makes it that much easier to handle, too. It’s also pretty quiet so your cat won’t feel like it’s gonna get run over by a lawn mower. I highly recommend this clipper! It’s impressive how quickly you can get done, the attachments that come with it, and the great price!

We have an older long haired cat that was having trouble grooming and developed knots and matted hair on his back. This product worked great, was very quiet and gentle. Did not pull on the hair, shaved right through his knots. I would recommend this to pet owners.

I have 2 long haired cats who are skittish with loud noises and shedding like crazy. These clippers were quiet enough that they would lay on their sides and let me cut their hair. I purposely gave them a kittyhawk.
Highly recommend for owners with skittish animals. Only problem is that I found it hard to get an even cut. I was doing it on my own and although the cats were mostly cooperative, hard to keep them from moving while keeping their skin taut and the clipper in your other hand. Another set of hands would probably resolve uneven cut.
Easy to use and box can be used for storing. Battery is great. Used a couple of times to trim their bums and then about 45 minutes x 2. There is still 75% battery left.

I was hesitant when i bought it because I’ve tried different one’s before and it got caught in their fur or it was loud and scared the cats but this worked perfect. My cat never flinched and her fur came off with ease . so quick and easy ! Made life much easier !
