I purchased these to use as covers for my compost piles. They are the perfect size for my pallet style compost piles. They help hold in heat in the winter and moisture in the summer without decomposing into little bits of plastic like the common tarps do.

I’m no handy expert, but I find the cloth rather thin and the paint seeps through. After the paint job, I had to circle back and scrap and wipe up the paint that got through on the floor. I wonder if this is normal for drop cloths for painting.

I bought this drop cloth to cover the dog bed our younger dog uses. She went through a prolonged chewing phase in the first 10 months after we adopted her. Her targets included furniture legs, carpet, all her toys and her bed. She chewed large holes on the bed and we tried to use duct tape to repair it. Then my husband actually sewed the duct tape on the bed. That’s when I said “Enough!” The drop cloth now covers the bed. Then we pile on the holey sheet she uses and the holey beach towels, also holey. Thanks! This might not be what you envisioned for the drop cloth, but it sure has done a great job for us.

Loved this drop cloth. Only thing I didn’t like was there is a seam running through the middle of it from end to end. I am using it for a couch cover so the seam can tuck into the seat of the couch. Is relatively soft to sit on and looks like high quality cotton.

Great price compared to what local stores are charging – I got a 2 pack here for only a little more than their price for 1. Appears to be good quality. Thick, but drapes and lays nicely. We bought 9×12 sheets and are using it to protect our hardwood floors from our birds. It is important that we can easily throw it in the laundry…we don’t have Ruggable money! Reusable and cost effective.
