Buena cubierta pero al sentarse en el se desacomoda pero si es muy útil y se ve bien el sillón

I recently bought a Henry Flexsteel sofa and this fits pretty well. A few improvements could be made in the instructions. They aren’t the clearest, but I figured it out. Another problem I had was the white elastic that you place into the buckle. They need to be just a bit longer. I was able to get them to go onto the buckle, however, it pulls so much I’m afraid the elastic will rip off from the fabric so I am going to have to get a rope to extend them an inch or two. Another thing I don’t understand is why is the elastic white when the cover is dark brown? It’s really ugly because it sticks out like a sore thumb. The elastic that goes around the top of the couch is the actual fabric color so that is great! This is just a piece of cloth, it is not waterproof nor does it have the anti-slip material as some do because it is reversible. After a few days of use, I am going to return it. It moves way too much against my leather. The armrest keeps coming off as well as the back of the chair. I was hoping for good things as this is the only cover I have found that fits my couch, but it’s just too much movement for me at the end of the day. The first picture is with no one sitting on it, the second picture is after it was sat on once and having the seat recline.

I have had this for a bit and thought I would do this review after I used it for a while. I love this for protection on my couch. It guards against dogs if they jump up, the sun when it shines on it and occasional spills. It holds together well when you sit on the couch. Definitely can recommend.

I bought these because I have a reclining couch with a matching Recliner and it matched the cover I bought for that as well.
First off the instructions are severely lacking there is nothing that tells you exactly how or where the white elastics go to keep the covers from sliding around and therefore virtually useless.
The images used do not help in the slightest. If you have a toddler that bounces around the sofa, like I do you’re gonna have a REALLY hard time with this.
The only positive is that they cover most of the couch and that they’re nice and soft but I have my doubts as to the cover’s waterproof capabilities… All and all I’m sure it will at least protect it from food which is part of the battle… but not remotely satisfied with it. At least it’s…. something…. I guess
EDIT: After Sitting and thinking for a while about how those elastics may work I did work it out for myself. I have never owned a sofa that reclines so when I thought about it I played around with the different ways the elastics could go and naturally figured it out.
I’m not sure if all reclining sofas are built the same way but my sofa is a three seater that you can take apart and place it together.
Because of this, the back of each seat has a flap that velcros to the bottom of the back so you can see what you’re doing to put the pieces together.
The white elastics are supposed to be fitted between each seat and then secured with the buckle around the back of the seat (You DO NOT have to take it apart to do this…) Just feed it through where the cushion of the seat meets the back and go behind the couch and feed it the rest of the way.
The instructions mention this but not go in great detail and for someone like me who tends to take the literal approach to things I didn’t think at all that it meant around the back of the couch.
You then undo the velcro backing and clip the elastics together using the buckle and then place the velcro backing over it to protect it as well and hide the white elastic. You don’t have to necessarily do the velcro bit but Its what I did.
The cover works much better now but my only complaint is that the top where it flips over the head rest doesn’t stay put and my kid just manages to pull it down back on to the seat overtime. Which is a little annoying as there are a few alterations that could keep this from happening like a zipper or set of buttons to secure back onto the strap used to go around the head rest.
I also got to try out the water resistance and its pretty great. my daughter dropped an ice cube on the sofa after finishing her drink and taking her lid off of it. I didn’t find the ice as she ended up sitting on it and when I moved her to clean up I found it. The cover was wet but the couch wasn’t and I didn’t have to scrub up. About a half hour later the cover was also pretty much dry.
If you have big spills it probably wont fair as well but for small liquid spills and potential diaper leaks that happen if you have small children it will protect your couch or at least keep the spill minimal for an easier clean up which is what I was looking for.
Much better experience after figuring out how the white elastics work but the instructions should be amended because that small detail would have made installation quicker and less frustrating. At least add a more detailed photo if not another line of text. Even my husband said that it is incredibly vague when I asked how he would interpret that and he’s training as a carpenter and welder and stuff like that comes naturally to him with limited instruction.

We love this!! It is easy to install, washes up well and has worn great considering all the dog/cat action it gets. Would get again w/o hesitation!

Was very beautiful but once we got it out of the bag went to put it in our sofa and a strap was ripped of so we had to send back 😔

Fits and looks great, Not water resistant

I’ve only used this twice and both times it was an annoying mess. It doesn’t stay put, especially when there are dogs lying down on it. Only gave two stars because it is well-made in terms of construction and the color is nice.

I read reviews, many poor reviews. One good review explained how to install the white elastic straps which helped me make up my mind to order. The instructions that came with the covers left a lot to be desired, but the one reviewer helped me get the job done. It wasn’t easy-peasy! I became frustrated as I could not grab the white elastic straps with my fingers, just way to tight. Finally, I got a long handled BBQ fork to nab the elastic and used the clips to hook each end together on the lower back on all 3 sections. The elastic bands and clips are hidden under the leather flaps that I have at the bottom of my couch. Success at last! The top elastic straps were a bit loose and I stretched and tied each into a knot to tighten. Worked like a charm. Tucked in the short flaps and it looked beautiful! I have been using a while now, stays pretty much in place and very easy to tidy up. The color Peacock is very nice and my brown leather recliner couch has a facelift. Plus, feels very nice against my skin, no more cold and clammy. Don’t give up. It is worth the effort!
