Full disclosure, I liked it so much I bought it 3 times. I Love the stylish design of this umbrella. Its compact size make it perfect to keep in the car or to carry around as I trot through the city. Despite the compact size, it has the sturdiness to withstand gusts of wind. This umbrella checks all the boxes for what I need on a rainy day to rainy day basis!

This is not a mini umbrella, but the right size for travel. Very well constructed with strong ribs and excellent material for rain and sun. Lightweight. It just went to South Korea with me and back. Fit very well in my carry on luggage. I would purchase another one. My color was charcoal gray with a light colored pinstripe. Fashionable, even for a guy.

The umbrellas are very well made, and stylish too, depending on what style you order. The size is perfect for traveling as it folds up nicely and fits in our cross body bags. They have an automatic opening and closing button, which is a nice feature. One little quirk – when you click on the “Close” button on the handle, the umbrella snaps shut so you can manually retract it and tie the velcro cord around it. However, the only way to open it back up is to full retract it to the closed position, then hit the “Open” button. If you just click on the “Close’ button, the umbrella retracts but it’s still in the extended position. In this position, you cannot open it back up without fully locking it in the closed position (hope I explained this ok). Other than that, it performed great in the wind and rain. We used them on our recent vacation off and on for 4-6 weeks, and never had a problem. One rainy day, I was using my umbrella and slipped on the wet pavement. I dropped the umbrella and my hand or arm must have fallen on it, and one of the spines broke. It was still usable though. I happened to receive an email asking how I liked the umbrella, and in the email I noticed that it had a lifetime guarantee, so I told them what happened to the umbrella when I fell. I received an immediate response from Rebecca in their umbrella support team, who said she would replace the umbrella immediately. Within a week, I received a replacement umbrella. So not only do they have a great product, but their customer service support is fantastic. I would recommend this product and this company to anyone!

It’s it beautiful, but the double canopy is literally double layer of canopy, same length, not the “cut” around the middle and over lapping type. Wind resistant? On the sense it doesn’t break, yes. But it turns backwards, so won’t offer you much protection. It is indeed super light and easy to open and close with the button.

Terrific umbrella. Does the job and looks nice too (I got the black with red underneath—is a very dark maroon, classy, not something garish).
I will note that the umbrella is on the heavy side. Not sure I’d say that’s a downside, because it feels pleasantly sturdy, but more of an FYI. This weighs more that a simple small umbrella would.

The mechanism on this brolly is very strong. I haven’t stepped out w it yet-I assume there’ll be no water proof issues 😏-but I am feeling confident w the engineering. Worth the money-don’t buy those $5 brollys on the street ! Pretty too.
