Working on reorganizing my kitchen (and life!) and thought maybe these would help – with dishes and whatnot, not my life. Upon receiving “SAMEBUTECO Bamboo Wooden Plate Racks Dish Stand Holder Vertical Drainer Kitchen Cabinet Organizer for Dish, Pots, Lids, Bowls, Cups, and Cutting Boards and Books(2 Packs),” I thought, “awww I remember Tinkertoys!” because that’s immediately what these dish holding cabinet organizers reminded me of.
I went to the dish cabinet and attempted a quick test-run. Initially I was annoyed because I neglected considering the height needed to store certain items vertically rather than horizontally. Where I thought I could “file” my dinner plates like books on a shelf (my plates are square and could stand up on one end without rolling), I’m limited to (maybe) being able to do that with the salad plates – at least until I’m willing to adjust the cabinet shelving to accommodate. However, I already know I won’t waste time on that because it would require too much cabinet space and would not make it more efficient.
I will probably end up using these for pot/pan lid organization, but I’ll have to do some in-home rearrangement of things before I’ll know for sure. Still, for $8.99 at the time of this review, it’s not a bad tool to help make better use of precious cabinet space – just check the sizes of things first!

This item definitely gave me a ton of ideas. Although it’s marketed for the kitchen it has a ton of uses. Yes you can easily assemble it and use it for plates but you can also use it to hold open a cook book while you cook. I also used it for everyone’s phones and tablets as a docking station while they charge. It’s a very simple tool with a lot of variation and uses. You can also disassemble and store it easily. Really simple and effective.
Good to go😎

I’ve always liked the way vertical dish stands look and had a chance to review these. They’re not made very precise or even straight but they hold my dishes up and look good. Some of the dowles are shorter than others and the holes weren’t equally spaced but it still assembled ok and works. Holds a total of 12 plates but if you put them together with double sided tape like I did, you can get 13. Despite the imperfections, I really like them. Looks great, saves room, organizes my cabinet and great price point. Highly recommend.

I wanted to like these, but unfortunately I couldn’t assemble one of them because the holes in the side pieces were too small. The one that I could assemble (just barely, because those holes were almost too small too) is wobbly.
UPDATE: The seller reached out and provided a refund, which I really appreciated!

These are very nice but a bit too small for most people I believe. These are two separate holders that cannot be combined, which seems like a design flaw to me. Something along these lines with the ability to combine 4 into a single unit would be about perfect. We’ve taken to using these for drying cups and some bowls which are small enough not to hang down to the surface.
Larger and with integrated holes to attach together would make these perfect, as it stands I can only recommend them if you have relatively small bowls, a relatively small kitchen, and don’t mind them both free-floating.

Those racks are perfect for keeping expensive dishes unscratched and from keeping them safe from breaking. The wood is sturdy and stained secure. Holds dishes well.

I, like many people have limited space in my house for storage. Because of this we have supplemented our lack of pantry or closet space with metal racks. I have used bins and things to help organize as best I can with the situation, but the eyesore and often hard to pull items are the cookie sheets and cutting boards. These seemed like a simple yet very obvious solution. I received the two pack, and a good thing, because I had several items that needed to be stored upright. The pegs that hold the two sides together were a little tough to stick together, but I was able to assemble them… with a little concussive persuasion against the counter-top. In the end, they fit nicely on my wire shelf, the cutting boards, large cookie sheets, cooling racks, and silicone mats all fit nicely and I can grab what I need without a huge battle.

Pros:
easy to put together
Holds a reasonable amount
Fits in cabinet
Cons:
On the small side
Dowels are glued in (I was hoping to use these to organize pots & pans in a drawer, but you cannot arrange the dowels into a square)
They don’t sit 100% flush to the surface
I haven’t tried to put stonewere dishes or coffee cups, glasses on them. Actually, I’d be a little afraid bc the unit is a little small and those items are heavy. It works well for small to medium plastic items though. It fits either way inside our cabinets which are 11 inches deep.
