I’m an absolute fanatic of this item. I’ve bought a cheap L-shape computer desk off Amazon before from a different company and it was absolutely garbage. Was a pain in the neck and back to build, it was weak and unstable, it was small and not spacious enough and I hated and regretted buying it in fact the only part of it I enjoyed was demolishing it into bits pieces. Now this desk on the other hand!!! Is an absolute beauty. This is by far the easiest desk or piece of furniture I have ever put together in my life. I’ve bought products I’ve had to assemble from Amazon, Costco, Canadian tire, Walmart, ikea, leons, and the brick, and this desk Beats them all in assembly. I love it. The size is perfect. It’s got a solid metal frame. It’s large and deep enough for everything I like to keep on my desk within reach without making it feel cluttered. I intend to buy more from this brand. It’s a great purchase.

Assembly was very simple – three identical frame pieces, two kinds of rails, two desktop leaves, 4 rail screws, and 10 bolts. The desktops have hard plastic standoffs to ease construction and reduce vibration.

It’s surprisingly sturdy and large. Do plan on using the “L” piece. I considered just using the longer piece, but the desk isn’t stable unless both halves are used (which is understandable).

The desk sits lower than most at 28″, or slightly less if you remove the feet. I was looking for a lower desk to help relieve shoulder and neck tension.

All holea were aligned well for me and no damage on delivery. It is packaged well with plastic corner caps protecting the wood. If it’s abused in shipping it could be damaged, but the manufacturer did a good job with foam blocks and corner caps.

Overall really happy with it. I’m using it with a 40″ monitor and it works well for it.

Update: I switched to a 32″ monitor held by a C-Clamp gas spring arm. Works great. I was able to clamp to the metal rail. There’s a small gap between the rail and desktop, so to avoid flexing the top I slid in a snug wooden shim. C-Clamp is nice and tight. Still a great desk after a couple months.

I specifically selected this model due to the advertised commercial grade quality. I did not want a flimsy corner desk and did not have confidence in the other options. I can happily say it has surpassed my expectations. Currently set up with 3 monitors and 2 laptops and a desk organizer with plenty of room. It is set up in a spare room, which is small, but there is more than enough space for my other belongings. If you have specifically selected this desk for durability, you will not be disappointed. Lastly, this desk is VERY easy to assemble. Only warning would be the weight of the desk tops. If you’re like me and a lightweight, you may need some help with that part.

I am very happy and pleasantly surprised that I received a desk without any damage or scuffs. The package was much heavier than I expected and was fairly difficult for a full grown man to carry up stairs but it’s manageable. Bless the delivery drivers who drop these off because I can easily see how this box could be damaged because of it’s weight and awkward carrying dimensions.

The desk itself is great and was a breeze to put together. All parts fit and looks great. The grommet holes are very useful if you want to install monitor mounts/cables.
There is about an 1/8 inch gap between the desk top and the metal frame (the desk top sits on 1/8″ “caps”) So when attaching a monitor mount be sure to slide some old business cards in the gap to keep from bending and potentially cracking the desk top.

I have no regrets with this desk. It’s solid, looks beautiful, and at this price it’s a great value. Would buy again.

It arrived in pristine condition. The only difficulty for me was that it was heavy, 60 lbs or more in a very large box, which made maneuvering tricky for an old woman with no cartilage in her knees and arthritis in every joint. However, once out of the box, the individual pieces were lightweight and easy to handle. The actual assembly was very simple. Other reviews had mentioned needing a rubber mallet to put the base together, so I was prepared with a hammer and potholder. However, neither were necessary to fit the ends together. They all slid easily into place with just a little hand pressure, no straining to do it. I observed the directions which emphasized not tightening the screws until all were threaded just a little. Because I hadn’t tightened the screws for the largest top piece it was not that difficult to remove it and switch the pieces of the frame. (I had miscalculated and had the long end of the L in the wrong direction.) It was challenging aligning the holes of the frame with the holes in the top pieces, and screwing them together from a sitting position underneath, but I can’t do things in a hurry these days, so I had to take my time. Took about 2 hours once it was out of the box. Once the L was in the right direction and everything screwed together it’s perfectly squared, the top pieces even and snugly abutted. It doesn’t wobble and the top is level. I’m pleased with the maple color, and the matte gray/brown of the legs. I especially like this open, simple design because it has with no drawers or shelves underneath. I’d see a few desks of a similar design, but this was the only one with a desk depth of almost 24″. Most had only 19″ which might be fine for gamers, but I will be using this for writing, art projects and sewing. Very pleased with this investment of my money, time and effort! It really was designed to succeed!! A thank you to the gentleman who made a very nice video showing the assembly process of this desk and alerted me to the fact the L shape is reversible.

I just got this desk today, so this isn’t any kind of long-term review. Might update after a few months. Here’s what I’ve gathered from my initial use:
    Pros:
    1. Was very easy to assemble. It’s just six screws, four metal pieces, the top piece, and the little “wire hole thingies” that go into the desk. Took me ten minutes to unpack and put together, and you don’t even need a screwdriver because it comes with an allen wrench.
    2. Looks nice. I got the 55inch in cherry. The top looks very pretty, and overall the desk is very nice to look at.
    3. Plenty of space. Wanted a desk that was more than 19in deep like my last one so that I could keep my 27″ monitor from being right up in my face. Also gives enough leg room that I can also put storage underneath.
    4. I was worried about getting wires through the little hole, but that piece is actually three pieces that snap together and apart pretty easy.
    5. Good height. My last desk was kind of short (and I’m only 5’3, so that says something).
    6. Fairly sturdy, too. If you push on it the metal might make some slight squeaks, but it’s not bad enough to be a bother I don’t think.

    Cons:
    1. Top seems like it might be prone to easily staining or scratching. I had a book with.. something (idk what, probably dirt) stuck to the bottom (it’s a used college book) and the desk scratched when I moved it across it. Was kind of disappointing for it to scratch so soon. As for staining, my fingerprints are causing a small stain left behind whenever I touch the desk. But maybe that’s normal, I have no idea. Either way, I’ll be getting a large mouse pad to help deal with these issues.
    2. Measurements seemingly wrong. The desk assembled fine, but one of the 6 screws I couldn’t use because no matter how I moved the top, it wouldn’t line up to be screwed in. It doesn’t seem to impact anything, but I thought I should note this.
    So far, 4/5
