Needed to raised the floor of my chest freezer so I can reach the stuff on the bottom. It fits perfectly! Now I can reach the stuff on the bottom. Great value for your money.

This was exactly what I was looking for. The size is perfect. It’s not too big and not too small. The lid fits nice and tightly.

Purchased to store snacks at work to keep them safe from mice as my office is in the middle of the country. Has successfully done the job. As they do not lock but do seal shut, I did put a bungee cable around the tote because mice can be tricky; nothing to do with the tote. It has served me well over the past several months and I am still happy with my purchase. With the price of things these days at my local stores, I was thrilled to get a set of two for this price.
Melanie “Vaxxed & Masked” Gilbert –
The pandemic made me rethink my just-in-time style of grocery shopping. Within days of the announced restrictions in March 2020, perishable and nonperishable goods – not to mention things like toilet paper and paper towels – were completely cleaned off of store shelves. With a family of five to feed, it didn’t take long for my existing two-week stock to dwindle.
Although the early shortages eased, my supply-and-demand anxiety didn’t, and I took a page out of my childhood and built out a larder. Partly, it was to take better advantage of sales, coupons and other deals, but the idea of bulk buying and prepping out supplies was totally inspired by COVID. And now, with inflation apparently on the rise, I’m still maintaining this disciplined stocking approach. The Sterilite storage bins are helping to keep it all orderly and accessible during the ongoing craziness.
If you have five or more people in your family, and want to stockpile your basic food needs, I highly recommend these 16-quart bins. The sides are constructed of high-impact plastic and the bin can easily hold twelve 19-oz soup cans. The snap-on lid means the bins can be stacked. We store all sorts of foodstuffs in these bins, from pasta and sauces to canned goods and snacks. Everything has its place.
Of course, you can use Sterilite bins in any size as your go-to storage option. I also use the 6-quart bins for miscellaneous household storage. A terrific kitchen/household item.
