These are large weather sealed bins with convenient wheels to move them around. Mine arrived in good time and great condition, no issues, –however, they are a little more flimsy than expected. But, so far so good.

These bins are an excellent size, they close very securely, they are stable when stacked up and being able to see the items stored inside is so convenient! I won’t hesitate to purchase more in the future. I did have some issues in shipping as other users have mentioned- one bin out of the 8 had a top corner cracked and broken off when it arrived. I contacted customer service, they replied almost immediately and compensated me for the damaged item. Grateful for the amazing customer support!

Have had a couple of these bins for over a decade now and they hold up well. Even made it through an indoor smoking household without staining/permanently absorbing odors. Bought more because they were the perfect height for under my new bed frame. Clear so you can see exactly what is in them. Highly recommend. They are a bit pricy, but I plan on replacing all of my cracked and bent storage bins with these someday.

These are pretty good containers from Sterlite, a brand I’m familiar with. They have a foam-like insert in the lid that forms a seal when you latch the lid on. Looks good enough to keep out dust, air, and probably some water. The problem I have is that one of my containers arrived broken at the corner. I thought it would be an easy issue; just get a new one sent and return the broken one. NOT SO. To address the issue, Amazon directed me to Sterlite, who said they do not deal directly with customers, so they referred me back to Amazon, who is the “3rd party seller”. Amazon said that I could exchange for a new set, but they also said that since it was a 3rd party sale they can only issue a refund. I decided not to participate in any of that nonsense and went to Walmart for a solution. What you need to know is that the Sterlite Store page on Amazon looks and feels like it is from Sterlite and that you are purchasing from them. Based on what they said, they do not sell directly to consumers, so the Sterlite store is not Sterlite. The box I got said it was shipped from Sterlite in MA, but maybe that is a drop-ship situation.? Similarly, Amazon indicated that the seller is a 3rd party, not Amazon.
As it stands, I have no idea who exactly I purchased these from. It is not Sterlite, so if you are looking to place an order through that store, it may be wise to find another vendor that is clearly identified. Especially if it is a big order that may include a damaged item. They offer no easy solution to replace it and the manufacturer is not the seller. Sterlite indicated that they will be fixing the situation at Amazon.
So I like the product, they are fine so far. If I were you I would buy these locally or carefully double-check the vendor you choose. I would also avoid the “Sterlite Store” until they identify who they are.

We loved these storage bins. the gasket keeps and unwanted moisture out from the basement. Purchased several cases the majority of them came in fine but the ones on the bottom came in broken. Seems any mild impact will crack or shatter the bottoms. Out of the 24+ we purchased 4 were trash with shattered bottoms.

The storage boxes are very nice. I like the fact that they have a gasket and lock. Perfect for storing Christmas decorations. The 54 qt size is perfect. Some had mentioned theirs were damaged when delivered. I had no issue. Mine were in a box marked “Fragile Handle With Care”. Very satisfied! Would definitely purchase again.

One of the 12 arrived broken – seller Spreetail was excellent in replacing same. One latch had come off another bin – I restored it with the help of a little heat and a flat blade screwdriver.

I am in the middle of a remodel, which will be followed by a move in a few months. I’ve ordered multiple Sterilite air tight sealed boxes on Amazon, some shipped by Amazon and some shipped by other sellers via FedEx or UPS. Unfortunately, the original carton box these somewhat delicate containers come in is not suitable for ground delivery. 3 of 5 orders arrived damaged, the containers completely cracked, which forced me to order replacements. At least one replacement also came damaged during transport. I would recommend the sellers to pack these inside of another box to avoid more losses and waste. Sterilite should update their packcging too. Other than that, if you get the boxes in good order these containers are excellent to safely store valuable items such as pictures, glass, etc. in a water and air tight manner in the garage or basement. Highly recommend and will buy more.
