Out of the box and underneath the cabinet, installed and opened 2 different quart jars of pickles. Worked like a champ!! Used the self stick and for now all appears well and adhesion was really good. Kept the screws just in case. This is a recommend especially for the seniors who struggle with opening jars. Qucik ship and well worth the cost.

Installation was easy, the opener works like a charm and it is out of sight. Instead of struggling with holding and rotating the lid, you can use both hands to gently turn the body of the bottle and off the lid comes!

This simple device works very well for opening any jars we have tried. It’s a good tool for older adults who are losing strength in their hands.

If you have problems opening jar lids then buy this product. My wife and I are older with some physical limitations so this product makes openings those lids so much easier. It works on both large and small lids. We have purchased two of these now and have no issues. Will definitely buy again if ever needed. Ours are mounted under the upper section of kitchen cupboards.

This opener sat in its box for weeks before I made the time to install it under a kitchen cabinet. I shouldn’t have waited, it was easy to install. I put it in place with the tape that came with it and I used a drill and a screwdriver to securely install it in less than five minutes. The jar opener is out of sight, so only my wife and I know where to find it. It is amazing how easy it is to use — no more straining with rubber jar grips, running hot water over balky lids, tapping, etc. Opening jars is now a snap. The only “secret” is remembering to turn the body of the jar in the opposite direction from the way I would twist the lid to open. That makes perfect sense, but it may not be intuitive to anyone who has spent a lifetime twisting lids counterclockwise to open — the jar needs to be moved in the opposite direction when using the opener.

My mom has sore hands sometimes since she went through chemotherapy and this is awesome to help open bottles of any size.
