My daughter has been wanting one of these for. Year or so now, we finally ordered one and she got it all set up!! It’s super cute however the led lights in it are not very bright at all it’s almost hard to see the color lights coming threw the cotton

I did not want one of the diy cotton ball on a plastic bottle clouds but was concerned that a ready-made cloud light would be tiny. This one is a good size and fluffs up nicely. You need to be careful not to pull the cotton too much but it’s more durable than I expected. I think it will hold up as long as we can keep it out of the cat’s reach. It also has so many light settings and I especially like that it has clear as well as colored lighting options. The thunderstorm effect is my favorite.

My house has a few hooks in the ceiling in all the bedrooms. I think the previous owners of my house were into hanging plants. This makes it convenient for hanging this cloud up. Using the magic lantern app and my cell phone, I created and interesting look and sound over my head. I have a television in my room and connecting it to a streaming site. I streamed some of those thunderstorm video’s that help put you to sleep, they typically have a black screen, so it worked well with the cloud to help me to doze off. I think I now understand the endless fascination my father had with a lava lamp back in the day. I can watch this for hours, although I usually fall asleep far too fast.
The app has different modes for timing, color changes, music and other functions. If you don’t have a cell phone it does come with its own separate remote, although some of the mic and sound functions won’t be useable. Cloud is not as big as I’d like but fluffs out as directed to be ok size. It might be nice to be able to link several together if you want a big display, but one is fine for me. Recommended.

While it was easy to set up, after less than a week half the lights stopped working. I find cotton all over the bedspread it’s hung above daily. And the remote barely works at all.
Bought 3 of these on prime day, one for myself, two for Xmas gifts. Now i can’t return them and I don’t feel great about giving them as gifts.
Would’ve been better off gluing an LED strip to an empty 2 liter bottle and sticking cotton on it.
The picture is the most light it gives now. Only the top lights up.

I got this for my daughter’s room and it’s really nice. You can shape the cloud however you want which was nice. It was easy to hang up and easy to get her music synced to it. Only problem is that now she wants more to add all over her room!

About a month after starting to use it occasionally to light up the area above the baby changing table, it has started working weird. It blinks really fast with all the colors and it doesn’t turn off when I press the power button. It just changes to a different color. Idk what happened, but it’s unpredictable at the moment.
