Purchased this vessel to serve as an aquarium for opea ula shrimp. Was hoping for clear glass with regular thickness and few blemishes. Although there are a couple of air bubbles, the are easily overlooked. There are also some subtle verticle lines around the perimeter, top to bottom, but they are also fairly easy to overlook. So for the most part, I’m satisfied that it will suit my needs.
One point I would make is that the measurements (6″ x 10″) aren’t quite right, as that should hold a gallon of water with about 2″ left at top. However, when I did add a gallon of water, there is about 1/2″ of airspace at the top. This means I’ll need to adjust my total water volume and recalculate the amount of salt needed for the water.
